Mission
“Loving others like Jesus loved us.”

Fellowship
1 Thessalonians 5:11
We believe in doing more than just being around one another. The DAG community is about building each other up.

Discipleship
Ephesians 4:11-17
As the body of Christ, we are founded on serving and reaching unity in faith.

Relationship
Genesis 2:18
We are more like a family than a church unit and we invite you to join.

Stewardship
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
God loves a cheerful giver!
We believe that a church home should be a place of comfort where people can go to recharge themselves with the word of God. We feel that our calling is to serve God, to spread His word, and to bring people everywhere closer to Him. And to do it in a way that is larger than life, just as God’s love is for us. One of the many ways that we serve The Lord is by serving His people.
How we started
Decatur Assembly of God began as a revival. In 1939, a group of young people came to Decatur, built a brush arbor, and started holding services in the countryside. Out of the impact of The Holy Spirit, a group of believers led by Mary Cable began to meet together on a regular basis. DAG Church was born. In 1940, this group officially became an Assembly of God Church. Ever since those early days our church has continued in the power of the Spirit to reachout, raise up, and build relationships. In 1993, Kirk and Pam Anderson became pastors of DAG and continue to lead the congregation in ministry. In 2010, DAG moved to the current campus. A beautiful 26,000 sq ft multi-use facility purposefully designed and situated on 32+ acres to continue to serve the needs of people in the NWA area. It is a place where the church family grow and meet the needs of the community, a place to call home.
